This is the week of throw-backs! Today’s feature is baby Elise ❤ Elise was born in March, so I headed down to her family for her in-home newborn session. Shooting in my client’s home is always the easiest for them- no packing up anything, no worries if baby has a diaper explosion or a little reflux. We also get to relax, and spend time in a place where everyone is most comfortable.
and… I get to meet the family pets ❤ Olive and Henry made this shoot so special. Olive had to make sure the basket was safe for her new human!
All those small details… you forget sometimes how tiny their ear was, or how they puckered their little lips, the curve of a chubby cheek ❤ You forget how their skin was so new, and soft… You never forget the work it took to grow them, but sometimes you forget those itty bitty details.
I get to see Elise in just a few weeks for her six month milestone session and I cannot wait to see how much she’s changed! I’m booking November and early 2018 newborns and milestone sessions 😀 If you know someone expecting, send them my way; when they book their session you’ll both earn some fun freebies!
I’ve been photographing Madison “Mads” since she was about 8 months old. She was as full of spunk then, as she is now! And she is insanely beautiful. Child model material for sure. She is such a perfect mix of her gorgeous mom and her hilarious dad.
She’s pony obsessed like all four year old girls should be, and has been for at least a year. During her 3yr photo session, she brought one of her ponies with her, and she showed me her pony hooves. It was awesome.
She’s also into her pretties; her necklace, bracelet, and dainty painted nails…
She’s a big sister now, too! Mason had his newborn session back in December and soon, he’ll have his very own cake smash just like Mads had, three full years ago ❤
I’m currently booking November milestones and fall mini sessions and *2018* newborns! Line up your session spot, by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
Dexter, it’s been a joy to Watch You Grow over the year. You are the sweetest little pumpkin. Your sparkling smile cannot be beat and your precious pout could melt even the iciest of hearts. Your cheeks are divine and I’m so glad I got to hug on you so much.
I could photograph Dex, Maria, and even Bryce (haha) every day and be 100% happy. I want to extend my Watch Me Grow package just so I can keep seeing my little buddies! I can’t stress the value of the Watch Me Grow package enough- the first year goes by so quickly. Before you know it, your baby is four months old and you’re hoping to find someone with immediate availability to get those first real smiles! When you book Watch Me Grow session, you get newborn photos, 4m, 8m, and a 12m cake smash session all booked at once and paid throughout the year at a considerable savings versus booking it all out individually. I’m booking September and later due dates 😉 Don’t miss out!
I have a week in June and a couple evenings in July that I would *love* to fill with some milestone sessions! If your little one is hitting a milestone, be it 6,8, or 12 months, two years, three or four years, email me! I have an aqua ruffle outfit that miss Top Right (Ellie) let me have that would be so adorable on a girl, 8-12m old 😉
Kicking it into high gear and welcoming the start of the busy season! I’m shooting Mommy and Me minis this weekend. Keep your fingers crossed that the rain will hold off for a couple hours. If you’re scheduled for a session watch your email; I will only cancel if it’s raining during the time of our scheduled shoot. Spring in Cleveland is temperamental, so even if it’s raining in the morning, it might be sunny and 75 in the afternoon. Our rain date was announced via email last week- if you did not receive that email let me know ASAP.
I’m trading some head shots with a fellow photographer friend this week as well. I’ve been doing some writing and need to submit a headshot along with the articles and I don’t have a current picture of myself. What do they say about the cobbler’s children having no shoes? If you follow wendy b photos on Facebook, you know I’ve been pretty busy; and really taking my own photo would be super boring. I like to be on the other side of the lens now and then! If the articles are chosen for publication, I’ll be sure to link to them here and on my Facebook page.
I’ve got some time that opened back in July, perfect for milestones, family sessions, and newborns! Don’t forget, if you refer a friend to wendy b photos, you both get some sweet kick-backs, so send your friends to over 😀 My August dates are limited, but I’ll be back in September with 4-5 session spaces. It’s hard to believe I’m already looking at August and September bookings!
It’s been a great year thus far; thank you for keeping me busy. I can’t wait to see what the rest of 2017 brings!
If you belong to any of the “mommy” Facebook groups, you’ve no doubt seen countless last minute cries of, “I need a photographer for my child’s 6 month photos ASAP!!” Sadly, most professional photographers don’t have immediate availability, myself included. It’s so hard to try and keep up with daily life when you have a new baby I don’t fault anyone for only realizing what milestone is just around the corner too late.
The beauty of this Watch Me Grow bundle is that all our sessions are scheduled when we schedule your newborn session! This new bundle of sessions makes it easier than ever to make sure you never miss a milestone. Booked all at once and paid for over the the life of the bundle there couldn’t be a more simple way to get all your sessions in without worrying about them last minute.
You’ll have your newborn photos, 4 month milestone, 8 month milestone, and 1 year cake smash all booked and on the calendar ready to go without a second thought. I’m offering them at a discount when you purchase the Watch Me Grow Bundle. Four sessions, one disk for each session with the corresponding amount of digital files and print release… only $575.
As with everything in life, conditions apply so check out wboycephotos.com or email email@example.com for details!
Many moons ago, I got to meet the *hilarious* Rachel and her spunky and precocious daughter, Sofia. Sofia was practically a grown up now that she was turning TWO WHOLE YEARS OLD.
Check out those fancy kicks she’s wearing ❤ I got to use the little red trike I was able to score from an online garage sale (woot woot!) and Little ‘Fia loved it. She called it “my bike” and frequently asked to sit back on “my bike”.
As any parent knows age two comes with a warning, “those terrible twos!” but Sofia was so fun and cute and smiley- she was so easy to work with! Rachel had me cracking up too. I love this shot of Rachel chasing Sofia and playing with her! One of my favorite things to photograph is the “in between”– what happens when we think no one is watching ❤
I’m currently booking for December dates and later, so if your little one is going to be hitting a milestone send me a line! I have a really awesome vintage sled we could use in place of the trike for you winter babies!
I’m months behind in blogging and desperate to catch up before the onslaught of fall sessions buries me! Bailey is one of those kids who :loves: to have her photo taken. And she’s crazy pretty, funny, and a spit fire to boot.
Gina (B’s mom) and I had a big plan about where we were going to shoot, what the style was going to be like, all kinds of BIG PLANS. Our shoot day arrives… and the sky is threatening. Now, the *same* fricking thing happened last year- we pulled up to our shoot location and as I opened my car door- it POURED. It wasn’t raining YET when we got to the wild flowers. There may have been a lot of “GO GO GO!” squad-leader yelling, but we got off a lot of really great shots. Here are just a few of my favorites: The sprinkles started but there was one more place we wanted to work in and it was nearly just across the road and down a teeny bit, so we loaded into Gina’s Jeep and crossed everything that could cross. Apparently, it wasn’t enough crossing. We parked and the buckets came down.
Since we’re not a bunch of quitters, we three decided to wait it out. The rains had been on and off all day- we knew the OFF had to be coming soon. Waiting.
“Does it look like it’s letting up some!?” one of us would ask the other.
“NOPE” dear Bailey would chirp. But then, it sort of DID stop. Well, it stopped enough that I could jump out and take a shot of B playing in a wet spot:
We rushed over to the paddock Gina showed me a bit haggard and damp from the sprinkles but it was totally worth it:
We got another maybe 15 minutes of photos and laughing in before the lightening started and we had to call it. I am so glad to have gotten to know Gina and that our kids are friends- it’s *always* and adventure with her!
We will get some creek photos, Gina! Probably before Bailey gets married 😉
